-
CNN/Time AllPolitics
- This site used to be an excellent site. The articles were so easy to find, they almost jumped out at one. Now, it is too cramped by CNN's ego stroking menubars and profit enhancing advertisments. It's now simply too hard to navigate. However, this site does still have some good resources and opinions. It tries to provide background and context, and I think it succedes.

Books

Powell's Books: New, Used, Rare, and Out-of-Print Books [search]
-
If you want to purchase used books, Powell's Books is the best bookstore on the 'Net.
Plus, if you'll kindly Bookmark the above link and place your orders through it, I will get credit for it at no cost to you! Powell's covers an entire block (and more) in Oregon. Their web site is very easy to navigate and search! They don't include as much information about their books as Amazon.com, however. Powell's has the lowest prices available for used books. I ordered two copies of
Asimov's New Guide to Science
and one copy of Ten Stupid Things Women Do To Mess Up Their Lives (all three hardcover) for about $55 total through Powell's books. In comparison, Amazon.com could only find a used copy of Isaac Asimov's New Guide to Science at about $53 total for a single copy! In other words, the average price per used book at Powell's was one-third the price at Amazon.com!
-

-
If you want to purchase new books, Amazon.com is the best bookstore on the 'Net.
Plus, if you'll kindly Bookmark the above link and place your orders through it, I will get credit for it at no cost to you! Amazon.com has the largest share of online book sales, for good reason. Amazon.com has the lowest prices available for new books. It's site includes detailed book information for most titles, including price, binding (hardcover or softcover), book "synopses, excerpts, and reviews", and even reader ratings on a scale of 1 to 5.
